IRS fraud and plane crashes

White collar crime

Already the name calling has begun, less than a day after Joseph Stack’s famous airplane crash in Austin, Texas. Forget about who is really at fault, let’s find fault in those who defend or deny Stack’s to-the-point letter on the white collar crime more commonly known as government fraud and political ineptitude.

Oblivious to the obvious, internet discussion boards are filled with hate and vitriol over the incident. Beating down and humiliating the so-called hero sites, they leave little doubt about the divisive nature our country still finds itself in, more than a year after our nightmare world known as the George W. Bush administration belly-crawled out of office.

Financial fraud

Stack’s suicidal letter leaves little doubt as to his sincere beliefs of a corrupt political system. Regarding the corruption, he states “Why is it that a handful of thugs and plunderers can commit unthinkable atrocities (and in the case of the GM executives, for scores of years) and when it’s time for their gravy train to crash under the weight of their gluttony and overwhelming stupidity, the force of the full federal government has no difficulty coming to their aid within days if not hours?” This is but one of many valid points and questions he raises, all of which no doubt will be ignored by the mainstream media and a shameless group of politicians under the influence of corporate governance.

Disaster report

Politicians, fearful of the exposure the letter opines of their fraud - filled lives, immediately went into their own attack mode, calling the incident a terrorism attack. Climbing into the foray early on were local Texas politicians, seemingly more full of themselves than a slop-fed pig. US Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) stated “Like the larger-scale tragedy in Oklahoma City, this was a cowardly act of domestic terrorism,” spoon-feeding fear mongering from his prepared disaster report.

Across the aisle, yet another in a long line of Texas political wind generators, US Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) stated that “a deliberate and intentional attack against a federal building” was the end result of Stack’s tragic act. This no doubt opens the doors to even more restrictions on flying and yet more assaults on constitutional rights and freedoms, thanks to the very issues raised in Stack’s letter.

High school journalism

In a bit of sheer brilliance that no doubt has a direct connection to what Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo labeled “irresponsible journalism” by news reporters the afternoon of the attack, Jonathan Gurwitz of the San Antonio Express-News enters the arena (pardon the pun, as this is what he suggests we do when reading his blog) by categorizing his reading audience as moonbats or nutjobs. He states “For some nutjobs on the right, Stack is a hero, a patriot who gave his blood in defense of liberty.” He continues with his gifted enlightenment by adding “For some moonbats on the left, Stack is confirmation that anyone who criticizes the government -- especially the government under President Barack Obama -- is at heart a right-wing terrorist and racist.” Somehow, amidst his confusion over moonbat beliefs and nutjob heroism, he just had to bring race into the equation.

It is certain that a bit of research will come up with his opinion on the military’s increased use of drones for bombing wedding parties in foreign lands, or the use of uranium-laced weapons that now produce grotesquely deformed babies in yet other foreign lands.

Tax preparation

The irony is almost too much. Federal employees who just days ago offered tax help now enjoy paid leave thanks to a failed government shouting the sky is falling.

This incident is proof positive that once anarchy hits the streets of America, its dumbed down populace is in for more heartbreak than it can possibly imagine. While tragic in nature, Stack’s action is not the first asterisk next to the Obama presidency, nor will it be the last. It will, however, fall in line right next to his “improving” economy theory, fat cat bonuses, closing Guantanamo, new green jobs, and protecting the environment.

Some things are just not political, and no matter what this man wrote, no one knew him to be political before he did this.

hi sheila,

thanks for stopping by.

he seems to have reached a point where a corrupt tax code, thanks to corrupt politicians, drove him over the edge. i have yet to hear anything different regarding this situation. one would hope that at some point politicians would begin listening to their constituency, but i doubt that will ever happen.

Blue Dog, "politicians ...listening..?" It will be a cold day in hell! Can't wait to watch the Health debate circus to see how well they are listening. Good Hub!
